BLE Women’s Circle

Women members of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon (BLE) are invited to participate in the BLE Women’s Circle to learn and practice Greek cultural traditions.

The next meeting of the BLE Women’s Circle will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. at the Maliotis Cultural Center.  A very exciting session is planned! Stamatis Stamatelopoulos, a member of BLE and a graduate student at MIT has agreed to conceptualize and set up the digitization of our archives, which among other items, will include our very valuable oral histories. He will present an overview of the process and indicate areas of interest for Women’s Circle members to become involved. Your questions and suggestions will be most valuable, and we look forward to your attendance at this very important meeting!

Meetings are held monthly at 7 p.m. at the Maliotis Cultural Center (50 Goddard Avenue, Brookline, MA), and are open to current members. If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to join the BLE in any membership category. Please let us know if you plan to attend by completing this brief registration form.

Led by BLE President Irene Savas, the Women’s Circle will play an important role in preserving Hellenic cultural traditions for future generations in America, the core mission of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon. We look forward to welcoming you to our circle to share your own ideas and interests!
