BLE Women’s Circle

Women members of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon (BLE) are invited to participate in the BLE Women’s Circle to learn and practice Greek cultural traditions. 

Meetings will be held monthly, and open to current members. If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to join the BLE in any membership category. This exciting program launches on Tuesday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Maliotis Cultural Center, Brookline, MA. Please let us know if you plan to attend by completing this brief registration form.

Led by BLE President Irene Savas, the group will meet to sew, knit, embroider, and practice traditional crafts that relate to Greek holidays and commemorations. Participants in the program may learn songs and dances, engage a speaker, discuss books, screen films, and plan excursions to exhibits and sites of cultural significance in the greater Boston area. 

The Women’s Circle will play an important role in preserving Hellenic cultural traditions for future generations in America, the core mission of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon. We look forward to welcoming you on June 11 to share your own ideas and interests!
