Greek Heritage Night at Boston Celtics Game
Join us as we celebrate Greek Heritage Night on Friday, December 21st and watch the Boston Celtics take on the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Boston Garden! Dancers from the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon, the Sons and Daughters of Alexander the Great, and the Metropolis of Boston Youth Dance Group will take the stage at halftime for a special joint performance. The BLE invites you to attend our annual Greek New Year’s celebration! Please join us as we cut the traditional New Year’s vasilopita with our friends from the Greek-American Political Club. Join the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon for Karnavali, an annual night of music, dancing, and regional folk traditions in celebration of Apokries, the Greek carnival season. This year, we invite everyone to dance with us around the Gaitanaki. Dancers weave colorful ribbons around a pole to celebrate the turning of the seasons.
